The Encounter

It was a beautiful, coudless, Full-mooned night. Crystal Had taken the night off. She needed a good break. She quietly sat there, sipping her tomato juice. She was beginning to relax.

The door burst open and Nox came in, his scythe covered in dry blood "whats to drink here?" he inquired

The humans began to inch towards the back door in fear. Crystal looked up. "I recommend the tomato juice. I must warn you. Feeding is forbidden here."

nox walked over and sat next to her"thanks for the warning.im Nox"then to the bartender"tomato juice it is"
then he pulled out a rag and began cleaning the scythe

Crystal smiled as the Bartender quickly hurried to get his order. "I'm Crystal. Nice Scythe."

nox said "thanks,its been very usefull, i just got done hunting a werewolf"

Crystal sipped her juice. "A hunter, huh?"

"i prefer the term reaping for hire,its more... unique. i hunt any thing that goes bump in the night, as long as its not one of my friends......................any way, if it terrorizes a village i usually get hired tro get it.my main hunts are werewolfs,ghouls and ocassionaly rouge vampires who prey on humans way to much."

Crystal looked at him, showing her fangs in a grin. "You wouldn't kill me, Right?" The bartender Set his drink in front of him. "I hope not." He said with a grin. "She's our best Customer!"

"Nah, i dont kill unless im hired.plus your cute...so you get to live"nox grins and showes his fangs in return" my mom was a vampire, whats your story?"

Crystal sighed. "I used to be human. I was bitten and joined the Hellsing organization."

"my dad was a ...........human...a priest actually."Nox looked down in sorrow" he tried to kill me on my 20th birthday,ththe day i found out i was a vampire."

Crystal looked down. "Oh... I'm sorry..."

"its not your fault besides, look at me now. im sitting here, talking to you.my life wasnt all bad."

Crystal smiled and sipped her juice. "I'm glad."

"me too."he took a drink and said to the bartender "you ever have a custemer that goes by nosferatu?"

The bartender shook his head. Crystal looked at him. "Why're you looking for him?"

"he is in possesion of an elemental gem for my scythe"

"First name?"

" all i know is that he goes by nosferatu and often preys on small villages"

Crystal sighed. "I only know one who goes by that and he wouldn't do that."

"damn a dead end.what now?"nox chugged his tomato juice and slammed it on the counter saying"refill."

The bartender poured more in the glass. "Don't have too much. The Juices can make your stomache hurt."

Crystal smiled. "My Master says that few who call themselves nosferatu are mostly imposters."

" i feel bad that you have a master, i answer to no one.i wonder if i can find away to track him using the electrical impulses the gem puts out."then to the bartender he said"i will have as much as i want thank you."

Crystal suddenly put her hand on her head. "He's calling me! Damn it!"
